You might be wondering how two professionals from London’s corporate world ended up as printmakers in South Devon—it took us by surprise too! At The Word Shack, we pour our passion into crafting personalised prints that celebrate life’s special moments. What started as a small venture has grown into something truly meaningful, with every piece we create infused with care, love, and dedication.
Who Are We?
The Word Shack was born out of a personal search for a unique gift for a friend's 30th birthday. When I saw her reaction to the piece I had lovingly hand-made, I knew this could be something special. I started selling on Etsy and NOTHS in 2018, and eventually launched this site. In 2021, my partner Jon took the leap and quit his job to join the adventure, and we haven’t looked back. We’re truly grateful to be part of so many meaningful moments and to help make those celebrations even more unforgettable. It's been an amazing journey, and we’re loving every minute of it!
